The Trump Organization, an American conglomerate. Privately owned by Donald Trump, made an announcement on February 20, 2026, about a $1.06 billion agreement to construct Australia’s tallest Trump luxury skyscraper in Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast, Queensland.

The project involves the construction of a 91-story skyscraper with a six-star resort hotel, 270 luxury apartments, retail shops, and a beach club in partnership with Altus Property Group.

Why now? To supercharge Queensland tourism with world-class quality. After decades of talks started by Altus CEO David Young’s 2007 call to Ivanka Trump. Construction starts soon, boosting local jobs and the economy.
